I used to try to persuade my mum to let me ride without a body protector - until I got a ProVent. The ProVent is more comfortable than the others I have had - and I dont get so hot.
Our back pads look like jockey ones and we think they are great. We have to wear them all the time (apart from in Mounted Games) so they get lots of use and do a good job when we come off. Also useful for hover boarding.
Super lightweight and breathable hardly know I’m wearing it 😁
My three children (16, 14, 12) all wear these for pony Racing and eventing and my eldest wears one riding out too. They are the most comfortable body protectors so the children happily wear them without complaint hacking and hunting too. We’ve always had racesafe and wouldn’t change when they need new ones.
My daughter Amelia has kidney failure and cerebral palsy but is a very competitive para rider. She has to wear a body protector or she’s not allowed to ride. She grew out of her Racesafe 2010 and needed another. However, because of her condition she struggles with her shape and weight. We went to see our saddlery who measured her up and said it would need to be a custom fit, Emma was straight on the phone to you explaining the situation; nothing was too much trouble for you. The vest arrived, Emma from Romsey Saddlery fitted it for her and we were absolutely thrilled. Amelia my daughter said it’s so comfy and it looks stunning. She wears it everywhere and and when she competes. We can’t thank you enough for your help. These photos are from a little plot shoot she had a short while ago.
