    Body Protectors

    Where to Buy

    Our body protectors are available to purchase through our Racesafe retail stockists.  They are trained to offer fittings and advice. Please click here to find your nearest stockist or contact us if you have any problems.

    Size & Fit

    For a guide on sizing, please check the fitting guide linked to each product page. This will show you how to take basic measurements that will recommend a size to try. If you would like help with these then please contact the Racesafe Team.

    Our brilliant stockists are trained to offer fittings and advice. We would recommend finding your local stockist.

     

    Warranty & Repair

    We offer a 12 months warranty against any faults & workmanship from the date of receipt.  This warranty covers faults and defects outside normal wear and tear, and does not cover misuse, accident, modification or unauthorised repair. 

    In the unlikely event that a product fails in the warranty period you can return it to us for repair, or in the event that it is unrepairable, a replacement so long as the products have been fairly treated for the period.  

    If your body protector is outside of the warranty period, we do offer a zip replacement service, on the strict requirements that it is a current model and in very good condition. The cost of this is £55.00, which includes cleaning, zip replacement and return postage.

    Returns

    Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for personalised items.

    Please note that once a personalised item has been made and supplied to you as a custom made item, you do not have the right to return it if it is unsuitable. You do not have the right to return your item if you have provided the incorrect details.

    Please be sure of suitability before purchasing. To cancel your personalised order you must notify us within 24 hours of placing your order.

    Delivery

    Custom and personalised products are individually made to order, so please allow approximately 7 - 14 days for delivery. This will depend on where the order is being sent, please see the delivery section below for details.  We do our best to get every order out to our customers as quickly as possible. If you have a specific date it is needed for, please speak to the Racesafe Team and we will try and accommodate you where possible.

    Bespoke Designs

    If you would like a design not available through the customisation tool that is something we can help with. Our in house print and embroidery teams specialise in personalising products, whether that is with sponsorship, branding or just a design you have dreamt up.  Contact us with some details via our custom orders page, or contact us by phone on +44 (0) 1536 771051 or by email at info@racesafe.co.uk.

    Colour Samples

    If you are considering one of our custom products and would like a colour sample, contact the Team by phone on +44 (0) 1536 771051 or by email at info@racesafe.co.uk.  There may be a small charge for this service. You can also order our standard colour samples here.

    Customs & Duties

    You, the buyer, are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods. We do not collect this beforehand, and cannot give you an estimate of the cost - charges vary around the world. As an international consumer, please do your research to ensure there are no surprise charges when clearing your package through customs, and to have an idea of what the additional cost may be. If you are unfamiliar with customs fees and charges, please speak to your local postal or customs office for more information. It is your full responsibility to verify the customs, duties charges, and procedures in your country prior to placing your order. If customs fees and charges are refused at the time of delivery, your order will be returned and you will not receive a refund for shipment costs.

    Returns Policy

    We want you to be delighted with your Racesafe purchase which is why we offer a 28-day return or exchange policy if you aren't totally satisfied unless that item has been personalised.

    Refunds

    Please note that for any returns or exchanges the original tags and swing tickets must be attached to the product, be unworn, and in the same condition for us to be able to process any refunds or exchanges. We endeavour to process refunds as quickly as possible, however please allow 10 working days for any refunds to appear back on your original payment method. Further time may be required dependant on your bank or payment methods process time.

    Faulty Items

    Returning Customised Products

    Return Postage Costs

    If you return something due to incorrect size or unsuitability, you will need to pay the postage costs to return it to us. If you return something due to it being faulty we will refund the postage costs. We recommend you use recorded delivery or registered post to return items so as to cover yourself against loss.

    What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept credit cards from Visa, MasterCard, we also accept debit cards with Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo and Visa Electron logo. We also accept American Express. We do not accept cheques or postal orders. 

    How is the checkout secure?

    You can shop in complete confidence knowing that our website uses the secure Shopify checkout. Shopify is PCI level 1 compliant for credit card processing which means that it adheres to the highest standards of server compliance. It has the highest standards in the world on payment processing.
