Now a third-generation family business, our story started in 1970 with our grandparents making stocks and racing silks on their kitchen table. The small manufacturing business grew to be one of the early pioneers of body protection in equestrian sport. The following 50 years and 3 generations has seen the heritage of British manufacturing established and the work to improve equestrian safety and performance continue.

The Racesafe Team continues to grow - both in terms of people and products. We're proud to say that each product leaving our Northamptonshire factory is defined by those 50 years of experience and development. The mission for Racesafe remains to offer the latest standards of protection in designs offering unrivalled comfort and performance.

We work with leading riders around the world to meet the rigorous demands of their top flight competition. Our goal is to then make this level of performance available to every rider, across our product range. Lots of the ambassadors we work with have worn Racesafe since day one. As they now head to an Olympics or Championships, still in Racesafe, its important to us that riders of every age and level can enjoy those same products.
